This exciting new edition of the Aladdin Sane contact sheet with the “Eyes Open” image at the centre is new for 2017.
Taken by Duffy during the second of Five Sessions with David Bowie – This is the contact sheet from Duffy’s best known photoshoot which dates from 1973. This session produced the iconic and revolutionary cover of David Bowie’s album Aladdin Sane, a shot that became the defining look of Bowie’s long career, and has been referred to as the “Mona Lisa of pop.”
