This had initially been called ‘Man About Town’ but evolved and embraced the ‘Swinging Sixties’ into the shortened title of ‘Town’ bearing the strap line ‘women and various other bad habits’ The chauffeur was Willie Landels who went onto become the editor at Harpers & Queen.
