Mendel Treitel grew up in Hampstead Quebec, Canada. Since discovering his great joy in drawing at a young age, he never stopped developing it even while attending Yeshivah through his teens, and rabbinical school in his early twenties.

Mendel's work is primarily pop and street art with influences from line art and artists such as Basquiat and Keith Haring who are huge inspirations. His artworks are incredibly bright, energetic and symbolic.
